The results will start to come in at 8:00 PM eastern. We’ll post any exit polls we see, but remember – EXIT POLLS ARE TERRIBLE PREDICTORS OF ACTUAL RESULTS. They are ONLY good for measuring demographics.

Swing State Project lists the competitive House and Senate race by closing time:

8pm:
Alabama (AL-02 D & R; AL-05 R)
New Jersey (NJ-Sen D; NJ-03 R; NJ-07 R)

9pm:
New Mexico (NM-Sen R; NM-01 D & R; NM-02 D & R; NM-03 D)

10pm:
Iowa (IA-03 D)

11pm:
California (CA-04 R)

The last of the presidential primaries are here at last!

UPDATE – CNN exit poll says Clinton “scores big with her core constituencies” in South Dakota.

Voters earning less than $50,000 a year — almost exactly half of the poll’s respondents — said they voted for Clinton by a margin of 61 percent to 39 percent. Obama had a narrow edge among those earning more, 51 percent to 49 percent for Clinton

Good thing it’s warm in New Mexico this time of year, Elliot. It’s looking like Clinton will win by about 10 points.

And here’s a Montana exit poll from CNN. This one looks great for Obama.

n exit polling of 873 voters, Obama appeared to be the choice of white voters who made up the overwhelming majority of respondents. Whites made up 91 percent in the polling, and those voters said they favored Obama 54 percent to 40 percent.

Here’s the AP exit polls. They’re not very useful.

MSNBC issue polling.

I could have sworn you said “If Clinton wins”, not “If ARG is right.” I mean, ARG’s never right. We’re still stuck with the “Jerome was right” shame.
